Beschreibung

This course discusses current topics and trends in embedded system research with special focus on design, analysis and verification of embedded systems and Systems-on-Chip.

The lecture is structured as follows:

  1. Introduction into embedded systems
  2. Verification in embedded systems: Cyber physical systems, error effect simulation, fault injection, model checking, multi sensor data fusion.
  3. Power in embedded systems: Analysis of power consumption, optimization of power and energy, semiconductor technologies
  4. Software timing analyses in embedded systems The lecturers will present the relevant basics as well as recent research results in each topic.

This course does not include any exercises. Questions and answers are managed via ILIAS as well as the distribution of the presentation slides. Please register at the ILIAS lecture.
